Overview: The Drone Camp Instructor will design and facilitate an engaging, hands-on summer camp experience in which students learn to build, program and fly drones. The camp will emphasize collaboration, problem-solving, and cultural connection, while introducing students to career pathways in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).
Program dates: June 8-12, 2026 from 7:30-11:30 (students 8:00 - 11:00)
Additional Information: ALAS is part of a multidistrict Collaborative Council (Alliance for Educational Equity). We are seeking a qualified, innovative, and student-centered educator to lead a week-long Drone Education camp for students in grades 9-12. This cross-district initiative brings together students from participating districts to explore drone technology, build marketable skills, and foster meaningful relationships across communities.
